Nestled in the heart of Montdidier (80), our establishment has been welcoming guests since the mid-19th century. Steeped in history and charm, our hotel is a place where tradition and conviviality come together. Montdidier, a historic town, suffered greatly during the fighting in the First World War. It retains some reminders of its past, such as the 15th and 16th century churches of Saint-Pierre and Saint-Sépulcre, both of which were badly damaged during the war and restored after 1918. The Flemish-style Town Hall and its Art Deco frescoes are examples of the architecture of the reconstruction period. Montdidier is also the birthplace of Parmentier, a benefactor of humanity who contributed to the spread and consumption of potatoes in France.
